MOUNTING

Mounting holes are provided for easy mounting of the Silent X-Stream™ Air Blade™. In addition, the holes at the bottom of the unit may be used with our Nex Flow Mounting System.

ACCESSORIES

It is important to keep the air supply clean and dry. We recommend a water removal filter with a float type automatic drain with a minimum filtration of 5 micron. If there is a chance of oil in the lines, we suggest an oil removal filter as well with a minimum filtration of 0.3 micron, also with an automatic drain. To minimize air use, we recommend a regulator with gauge to set the minimum pressure necessary to operate the system. If the system can be turned on and off as necessary, we recommend a system such as our PLCFC System.

The high performance Silent X-Stream™ Air Blade™ Air Knife provide a continuous sheet of high velocity air to strip moisture and debris. Numerous applications include drying of bottles, cans, sachets, steel products, removing excess food toppings.

Our Air Knives Systems come complete with a stainless steel shim to set the air gap and are held together with stainless steel screws. They can also be coupled together using a coupling kit for longer spans.

Our Stainless Steel models are available for high temperature and corrosive applications. Another version that we produce is the “Hardened anodized aluminum” X-Stream air blade, that can sometimes eliminate the need to go to more costly and heavy stainless steel units and save in cost.
